Stop pasting your Pikmin Bloom friend code into lists.

MushroomSquad is live matchmaking for Pikmin Bloom mushroom battles — a Host opens a team-up, ready Helpers around the world get notified instantly, and the friend request happens in one tap.

A free fan-made tool. Not affiliated with Niantic or Pikmin Bloom, and it never touches your game account.

Big mushroom, no squad?

Every player who has chased a big mushroom knows these:

Friend-code lists are a lottery

You paste your code into a megathread or list, add strangers back… and none of them are online when your mushroom actually appears.

Never enough attack power

Great mushrooms keep spawning where you are, but your own Pikmin can't push the bar and no passer-by joins in.

Helpers who don't deliver

After all the copy-pasting, someone joins with far less power than promised — and a good mushroom is wasted.

Missing that one petal color

Friends invite you to battles, but they can't know which mushroom color your task list actually needs.

How MushroomSquad helps

On one side, a Host sitting on a mushroom. On the other, Helpers ready to jump in. MushroomSquad connects the two in real time — the actual invites still happen inside the game, as always.

  1. Host

    1 · Open a team-up

Pick the mushroom type and size, how many helpers, and a power target — one tap and it's live.

  2. Helper

    2 · Get notified

During the hours you chose, an invitation pops up on your phone — sign up with one tap.

  3. Host

    3 · One-tap friend requests

Helpers share their friend QR ahead of time. The Host taps once in the lobby and Pikmin Bloom opens straight to the friend request — no copying, no pasting codes.

  4. Helper

    4 · Battle together

Accept the request, the Host sounds the in-game Bullhorn, and the whole squad enters the battle at once.

  5. Everyone

    5 · Rate each other

After the battle, both sides leave reviews. A strong record clears more Hosts' review-rate filters — more good teams stay open to you.

  6. Host

    6 · Earn Host Points & Coins

Every smoothly hosted battle earns Host Points — the more helpers and the bigger the mushroom, the more points. Every 100 points automatically becomes a MushroomSquad Coin, redeemable for priority invitations to the mushroom colors you want next.

Here's what it looks like

A classic team-up for mushrooms you're about to start, plus two Boost modes for battles that are already running — and any team-up can carry a postcard. Pick what fits the moment.

The classic: a fresh team-up

You found a good mushroom and haven't started it yet. Open a team-up, get matched, friend up, and enter together — the full flow, end to end.

Already in battle? Boost it

For mushrooms that are already running, choose how to find reinforcements:

Quick Team-Up — notifies helpers immediately and pulls in whoever is willing, right away. Great for giant mushrooms already at four stars, other large mushrooms, or postcard mushrooms where you don't need to chase power.

Star Hunter — opens a gathering lobby that accumulates helpers toward your target star rating: everyone's deliverable power adds up on a shared progress bar, and you sound the Bullhorn when the squad is strong enough.

Postcards: give your team-up extra pull

Any team-up — a fresh one or a mid-battle Boost — can carry a postcard from the battle location. Joining a battle that's already running costs a helper a Recharge Ticket, so a postcard gives them one more reason to come; and even a common mushroom draws a crowd when the postcard on it is beautiful.

A review system that keeps teams reliable

After every battle, the Host reviews each Helper — and Helpers rate the Host back. A strong record means you get notified and invited more easily, and Hosts can set a minimum review rate when opening a team-up to decide who gets in.

Three reasons to relax

Reviews with teeth

Every battle ends in mutual reviews. Sign up and deliver nothing, and you earn a temporary matching freeze; Hosts can also filter sign-ups by Good Review Rate.

Fair rotation

Matching favors players who haven't battled yet today — the same clique never eats every mushroom.

Never touches your game

No game password, no automation, no reading game data — everything runs on friend codes and the in-game Bullhorn, exactly as safe as organizing by hand.

Every mushroom counts

Regular colors, specials, and event mushrooms — all supported. Go on, poke one!

Questions, answered

Where can I find Pikmin Bloom friend codes for mushroom battles?

Friend-code lists, subreddit megathreads, and Facebook groups work — but you paste your code, wait, and hope whoever adds you is online and strong enough when a mushroom appears. MushroomSquad replaces the list with matchmaking: open a team-up and the system finds helpers who are online right now, with the friend exchange handled in one tap via each helper's QR invite link. And the friends you make through team-ups are yours to keep — people will usually send you postcards to thank you for the invitation!

Is it free?

Yes. Hosting, signing up, and matching are all free.

Does it need my game account? Can I get banned?

No account access, ever. MushroomSquad never connects to, reads, or automates Pikmin Bloom; invites and battles run entirely on the game's own friend system and Bullhorn — the same as organizing in a community group, just much faster.

Can I download it now?

Yes! Android and iOS are both in closed beta. Android: follow the three steps on the testers page; iOS: join via TestFlight and install right away.

Is it only for players in one region?

No — matching is cross-border. MushroomSquad players all around the world back each other up, and time zones become an advantage: the night you step on a mushroom, someone on the other side of the planet is wide awake.
